Note that IPL devices should not be used directly on the genitals, testicles, anus, or nipples.
Do I need to shave before using Ulike Air 10?
Yes, it's important to shave any hair longer than 2 mm in the treatment area. This allows the IPL light to target the hair root directly, as well as makes sessions more comfortable. Not shaving may lead to a burning smell during treatment, as the IPL light burns surface hair instead of reaching the follicles. Use shaving alone for preparation; other hair removal methods may reduce treatment effectiveness.
